Why Mali Legal
What Working With Us
Actually Means
Not every practice is the same. Here is what we bring to the work — and where we genuinely differ from what you might find elsewhere.

Six Reasons Clients Choose Us
These are not generic promises. They describe how we actually operate, day to day.
Rooted in Hua Hin
We work in this community, know the local courts, and understand the practical realities of family law as it is applied here — not in Bangkok, not in theory.
Careful, Durable Drafting
We write documents that hold up — not the minimum that will pass for filing, but language that reflects what the parties actually agreed and will still read clearly years from now.
International Familiarity
A significant portion of our work involves non-Thai nationals. We know where international considerations intersect with Thai family law, and we flag them early.
Clear Explanations Throughout
We explain what is happening, what the options are, and what the likely consequences of each path may be — in plain terms, without assuming prior legal knowledge.
Candid About Cost and Time
We do not underestimate to win the work. We tell you what we genuinely think a matter will take, and we revisit that assessment openly as things develop.
No Pressure, No Rush
We do not push clients toward any particular decision. An initial enquiry carries no obligation. The pace of engagement is theirs to set.
Professional Expertise in Family Law
Our team works exclusively in family law — marriages, separations, and the proceedings that arise from them. We do not dilute attention across unrelated practice areas. The depth this produces is genuinely useful when a matter becomes complicated or when the other party has legal representation of their own.
All attorneys are registered with the Thai Bar Association and hold current practising certificates. Our combined experience in family proceedings exceeds two decades.
What This Looks Like in Practice
- Experience across all three service areas — premarital, documented divorce, contested proceedings
- Familiarity with Hua Hin district court procedures and staff
- Regular participation in professional development and legal updates
- Internal review process for all drafted documents
Our Communication Commitments
- Enquiries acknowledged within one working day
- Updates provided as matters progress — not just on completion
- Documents explained in plain terms before signing
- Available in English and Thai; support for other languages where possible
Service That Treats Clients as Adults
Family law involves some of the most personal circumstances a person can face. We do not use opaque language to obscure simple decisions, nor do we pad timelines to inflate fees. Our clients are given the information they need to make their own choices.
When we make a recommendation, we say why. When we think a client is heading in a direction that may not serve them well, we say that too.
Transparent and Proportionate Fees
Our fees are published. The premarital session is ฿4,200. Documentation preparation for mutual-consent divorce is ฿15,500. Disputed divorce representation begins at ฿35,000 — and we will tell you clearly what that covers and what may change the total as the case develops.
We do not use hourly billing structures that leave clients uncertain about total cost. Where our fees need to be revisited, we discuss it with the client before doing anything that changes the position.
Value at Each Level
- Published fee structure — no hidden add-ons
- Written scope of work agreed before engagement
- Fee discussions reopened openly if circumstances change
- No obligation at initial enquiry stage

What Only We Offer
Written Summary After Every Premarital Session
After the premarital sitting, we produce a written summary of what was covered and what, if anything, the couple may wish to formalise. No other office in the area offers this as standard.
Separate Intake for Both Parties in Divorce Documentation
We speak with each party individually before drafting begins. This produces documentation that genuinely reflects both perspectives — and reduces the likelihood of disagreements after signing.
Honest Settlement Assessment in Contested Cases
Where a settlement opportunity arises during contested proceedings, we discuss it carefully with the client rather than defaulting to continued litigation. The decision is always theirs — but so is the full picture of the options available.
Multilingual Client Support
We work in English and Thai, and have basic working capacity in Mandarin. For clients whose primary language is neither Thai nor English, we can discuss suitable arrangements — the aim is that nothing is lost in translation.
